About Musalih
"Musalih" is one of the leading companies in Oman specializing in home and facility maintenance services, with a team of over 200 skilled technicians providing reliable and efficient maintenance solutions.
The Challenge
Due to the business relationship between "Muslih" and "Omantel," there was a need for seamless electronic integration between Omantel’s maintenance request management system and the Odoo HelpDesk system in "Muslih" to enhance operational efficiency and accelerate request processing.
The Soultion
The integration was implemented in four phases using a range of advanced technologies, including:
- Odoo XML-RPC API for seamless data exchange between the systems.
- Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to ensure efficient data transmission.
- Java EE to support processing operations in Omantel’s system.
Through this integration, maintenance requests are automatically transferred from Omantel’s system to "Muslih" via the Odoo ERP system, enabling the exchange of request details, pricing, and status updates based on well-defined workflows. Approval processes were also automated according to predefined rules, minimizing the need for human intervention and enhancing operational efficiency
